Amber Group (the “Group”) operates the website at https://ambar.co.il/ and additional digital interfaces, including sub-sites, dedicated landing pages, applications, and social media profiles/accounts such as Meta (Facebook), Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and similar platforms (collectively hereinafter: the “Sites”).
The Group attaches great importance to the right to privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information it collects and holds about its existing customers, prospective customers, and all users of the Sites (including for the purpose of submitting job applications at any of the Group’s entities). The Privacy Policy below describes how personal information is collected, the types of personal information collected, the purposes for which personal information is used, and the rights granted to you as a data subject with respect to your personal information.
This Privacy Policy is written in the masculine form for convenience only and is intended for both women and men alike.
Personal information collected through the use of the Site is managed in computerized databases controlled by Amber Institute for Mixture Central Agricultural Cooperative Society Ltd. (Association No. 570015362), whose address is Mifale Granot 3881100 (the “Association” and the “Database”, respectively). The Association is part of Amber Group, which has led the animal feed sector in Israel for many years, and it manages the Database for its activities and for the Group’s activities. The Association’s contact details are provided under the “Data Subject Rights” section.
In this Privacy Policy, the term “Personal Information” means any data relating to an identified individual or an identifiable individual, where an “identifiable individual” is one who can be identified with reasonable effort, directly or indirectly, including by means of an identifying detail such as name, identity number, biometric identifier, location data, online identifier, or one or more factors relating to physical, health, economic, social, or cultural condition.
Terms not explicitly defined in this Privacy Policy or in the terms of use of the Site you are using shall be given the meaning ascribed to them in the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 and/or the Privacy Protection Regulations (Information Security), 5777-2017 (as applicable).
WHAT INFORMATION MAY WE COLLECT?
When you use the Group’s Sites, we may collect and process one or more of the following types of information about you or about third parties.
Personal Information Collected Directly from You
We will collect personal information about you or about third parties that you provide to us in connection with an inquiry or contact with us, including name, telephone number, email address, and any other identifying details about you that you choose to share.
You are not legally required to provide us with personal information, and its provision is made of your own free will and with your consent. However, if you choose not to provide the requested personal information, in whole or in part, we may not be able to offer you our services and/or respond appropriately to your inquiry and/or contact you, and/or you may not be able to use the Site and/or your use of the Site may be partial or limited, and/or we may not be able to consider your job application at the company (as applicable).
Without derogating from the foregoing, to the extent that you provide personal information about any third parties, such as family members, employers, colleagues, contacts, references, business partners, etc., you confirm and undertake that you have and will at all times retain the required consents from those third parties for providing their personal information to the Association and/or on its behalf and/or to its business partners and other relevant third parties (as applicable), as detailed in this Privacy Policy. It is emphasized that you bear sole responsibility in this regard.
It is clarified that any use of the Site shall constitute evidence that you agree, among other things, to the collection, processing, and sharing of personal information carried out by the Company, as detailed in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you are requested not to access the Site and not to make any use thereof.
Information We May Derive About You
When you use the Group’s Sites, the personal information we collect about you (e.g., actions you performed or instructions you provided, advertisements you read, pages you viewed, offers and services that interested you, etc.) may be processed, both manually and through automated computational tools, in order to derive insights that will enable us to improve services and tailor them to your activities, and so forth.
Additionally, we note that when you use the Site, you automatically provide us with your IP address or other identifiers depending on the network or end device you use. This information is collected (among other purposes) to improve your user experience and to determine your geographical location for security purposes or to provide location-based services.
We may also, on our own or through third parties such as Google, Meta (formerly Facebook), LinkedIn, and similar platforms, derive measurements, statistics, and detailed analyses of your behavior on the Site and our services in general. The tools embedded in the Site also serve additional purposes as detailed below in the “Cookies” section.
Please note that some of the information collected about you in connection with your use of the Site and/or your engagement with the Association or any of the Amber Group companies, as well as some of the information derived therefrom as described above, does not identify you personally and is not stored together with your personal information. This is statistical and/or aggregate information, and the provisions of this Privacy Policy do not apply to such information.
PURPOSES OF USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We will use personal information for the following purposes:
- To enable you to use the Group’s Sites, the content included therein, and the services offered therein, including for administrative, operational, and other purposes required for the operation of the Sites and/or the services offered therein;
- Review of job applications submitted through the Site;
- To contact you in response to your inquiry to us, or when we believe there is a need to do so in accordance with another legal requirement;
- To comply with the requirements of any law, regulation, or other legislation, and to assist competent authorities and any third party when we believe in good faith that we are required to do so;
- For marketing communications, advertising, including personalized advertising (such as re-marketing, re-targeting), push notifications, on Sites, and pop-up advertisements, in accordance with and subject to the provisions of law;
- Sending updates, notices, advertisements, and additional information, subject to the provisions of applicable law (including obtaining your explicit consent pursuant to and subject to Section 30A of the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasts), 5742-1982);
- To prevent damage or resolve malfunctions and to improve service and user experience;
- For the proper operation and development of the Sites, improvements and enrichment of the Sites or the services offered and provided therein, including creating new services and content that meet users’ requirements and modifying or canceling existing services and content;
- In any case of dispute or legal proceedings between you and the Association and/or on its behalf (including any of the companies in the Amber Group) or between you and other users;
- To enforce and investigate possible violations of this Privacy Policy and/or the Site’s terms of use and/or the provisions of any law, including in cases where we reasonably believe that you have violated the Privacy Policy and/or the terms of use and/or any legal provision, and/or that you have abused your right to use the Site;
- To detect, prevent, or otherwise address any case of fraud, security issues, or technical problems, including to prevent any bodily harm or property damage and to protect rights, property, intellectual property, and security; and
- For any other legitimate business purpose consistent with the purposes detailed above.
Collection and Processing of Personal Information Using Algorithm-Based, Machine Learning, and/or Artificial Intelligence Systems
In connection with the use of the Site and/or the services offered therein, we may use algorithm-based, machine learning (ML), and/or artificial intelligence (AI) technological systems (collectively: “AI Systems”) for the purpose of collecting, processing, and analyzing personal information. The use of AI Systems is intended (among other things) to help us better understand the needs of our users and customers, identify preferences and usage patterns, prevent fraud, improve the quality of the Sites and services, and for legitimate purposes consistent with the purposes of use of personal information as detailed above.
The use of AI Systems as described shall be carried out while adhering to the principles of transparency, accountability, and the right to privacy.
TRANSFER OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES
We will not transfer your personal information to third parties, except in the cases described below:
- To the extent required for the proper provision of services and content offered through the Site or by the Group;
- If required to do so pursuant to a court order, demand from a competent authority, or by law, and for the purpose of complying with legal, regulatory, and administrative obligations;
- To service providers who assist us in our ongoing operations and in operational and logistical aspects (including in connection with the operation of the Sites and/or the proper provision of services), such as hosting/cloud service providers, IT, security, external consultants (attorneys, accountants), personnel management and CV screening systems, marketing support systems, and the like;
- In connection with any legal proceedings to which the Association and/or anyone on its behalf (including, without limitation, any of the companies in the Amber Group) is a party, including if we receive a notice of legal proceedings against us in respect of actions performed by you;
- In connection with the reorganization of the Association’s and/or the Group’s (and/or any of the Group’s companies’) activities within another entity, such as a merger, investment, reorganization, sale, etc., including as part of due diligence proceedings;
- If a claim is raised or a suspicion arises that you performed an act and/or omission that harms and/or may harm the Group and/or anyone on its behalf and/or any third parties, or if you performed actions contrary to law, or if we believe in good faith that you performed actions contrary to law; and
- Upon your explicit request.
Transfers Outside Israel
It is emphasized that we may transfer your personal information to third parties as detailed above who are located outside Israel or whose processing operations on personal information will be carried out outside Israel, including to countries that may ensure a level of security and protection of personal information different from that practiced in Israel and established under Israeli law.
Links to Other Websites
We may include on the Sites links or references to other websites or services offered by our business partners. If you are redirected to another website and/or certain services offered thereon or by our business partners, any personal information or action you take on that website or in connection with those services is solely your responsibility and is not covered under this Privacy Policy or the terms of use of our Site that directed you to that website or those services (as applicable). Accordingly, we encourage you to review the privacy policy and terms of use of that website or service provider (as applicable).
COOKIES
The Site may use “Cookies” for its ongoing and proper operation, including in order to collect statistical data about the use of the Site, for verification of details, for information security purposes, for maintenance and improvement of our Sites and services, for customizing the Site to your personal preferences, and so forth. In addition, we may use cookies originating from third parties (e.g., Google Analytics), which are designed to display advertisements about products or services based on your various activities across the internet and other websites and services you have visited, as detailed below.
What are Cookies?

INFORMATION SECURITY
The Site implements various protection and security measures that minimize the risks of unauthorized access, but do not provide absolute or hermetic security, since, as is well known, such security cannot be guaranteed on the internet or in cyberspace. Accordingly, the Association and/or anyone on its behalf in the Amber Group does not guarantee that the Sites and/or the services offered therein will be completely immune from unauthorized access.
DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS
Under the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 (the “Privacy Protection Law”), every person is entitled to review, by themselves, or by their authorized representative (authorized in writing) or by a guardian, the personal information about them held in a computerized database. A person who has reviewed their personal information and found it to be incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or outdated, may contact the controller of the database and request that such personal information be corrected or deleted. If the controller refuses, they must notify the applicant in the manner and form set forth in the relevant regulations, including the Privacy Protection Regulations (Conditions for Reviewing Information and Rules of Procedure for Appeals on Refusal to Review Request), 5741-1981 (and the applicant may also, in certain circumstances, appeal the refusal to the courts in accordance with those relevant legal provisions).
In addition, if the information is used for direct mailing services, you are also entitled to demand in writing that your personal information be deleted from the computerized database used for providing direct mailing services.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Association will enable you to exercise your rights under the Privacy Protection Law in accordance with and subject to the provisions of applicable law (including the Privacy Protection Law, Regulations, guidelines of the Privacy Protection Authority, etc.).
CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
The Association may amend the terms of this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made to the Policy, a notice will be published on the homepage of the Site 30 days before the changes take effect. If other non-material changes are made to the Policy, a notice will be published on the homepage of the Site 7 days before they take effect, unless the change arises from a legal or regulatory requirement, in which case the change shall take effect pursuant to that requirement.
Continued use of the Site and the services offered therein after any such change shall constitute evidence of your acceptance of the change and shall indicate your agreement to the amended Policy. If you do not agree to the change, you are requested to cease all further use of the Site.
It is recommended to review the provisions of the Privacy Policy upon each visit to the Site in order to review any changes that may have occurred.
